After long idle time, the new version of Event Reminder is finally released. Hopefully you will enjoy the new features. The list of key changes goes below.
First of all, events got completely new logic. There's no more separation into event types and different views. Instead, the event can have many rules that describe when the event should occur (every month, every year etc.), what makes possible to define set of occurrence dates of almost any complexity.
An event can repeat with specified period in years, months, weeks and days. Or it may occur at specified day of selected set of months. Or it can be just a single date event. All of those rules with the new approach can be combined and describe multi occurrence event.
Event setup become more flexible. In addition to the already existing one-time, annual and monthly events, now availiable:
Added expiry options (can be set up by date or after given number of occurrences.
Now all events are present in one list with instant search option and groupping by the nearest occurrence date.
The layout become mobile optimized and can be accessed from any device. The notification emails also got updated to be more informative.
